By bombarding the metal surface with ultra-fine spherical shots at high speeds (200m/s), we achieve three critical performance upgrades for your 1st-4th gear set:
Increased Fatigue Strength: Instantaneous heating and cooling during impact micro-refines the crystal structure. This significantly prevents gear tooth breakage and cracking at the tooth root during hard launches and shifts.
Higher Surface Hardness: Repeated plastic deformation creates a work-hardened, toughened layer to protect gear faces from severe wear and pitting.
Superior Lubrication: Micro-dimples on the surface act as oil reservoirs, preventing oil film breakdown and ensuring consistent lubrication even under the extreme heat of circuit racing.
Advanced Surface Technologies
MoS2 Shot Treatment (Solid Lubricant) Fuses a solid lubricant layer of Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2) directly to the gear surface without using binders. This maximizes low-friction performance, facilitating smoother gear engagement and reducing heat generation.
Sirius Finish® (Precision Polishing) A high-precision polishing process that achieves a mirror-like smoothness (thousands-grit level) on complex gear teeth geometries. It refines the WPC-strengthened surface to reduce mechanical drag to the absolute minimum.
