Established in June 1998, HPI is a premier manufacturer specializing in the development, production, and distribution of racing equipment and automotive parts.

As an authorized NISMO distributor, we offer an extensive portfolio of high-performance components sourced from world-class aftermarket brands.  We aim to support every driver's passion.

Ryusaku Hitomi: A Legacy of Excellence in Global Motorsports

Ryusaku Hitomi, a founding member of the legendary tuning brand TRUST (GReddy), is a pivotal figure in Japanese motorsports history.

With 15 years of experience as a premier professional racing driver, he made history in 1985 as the inaugural champion of the Toyota Grand Cup (CSGC) behind the wheel of an AE86 Levin N2.

His talent reached the international stage early on. In the United States, he drove the IMSA GTU Celica tuned by Dan Gurney’s legendary All American Racers (AAR), competing on iconic circuits such as Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca.

​

This expertise extends far beyond the driver’s seat; Hitomi later transitioned into strategic leadership, honing his command as a Team Manager at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

 

This dual legacy of on-track dominance and international team management remains the foundation of his commitment to automotive excellence.

HPI HERITAGE

1998 – 2005: The Foundation & Racing Roots

  • 1998: HPI Co., Ltd. established in Edogawa, Tokyo. 

    　Opened the Sendai Sales Office.

  • 2000: Reorganized as a corporation. 

    　Opened the Osaka Sales Office.

  • 2000: Formed an official dealership agreement 

    　with NISSAN MOTORSPORTS & CUSTOMIZING (NISMO).

  • 2003: First appearance at the NISMO Festival 

    　(Exhibiting annually ever since).

  • 2003: Entered the D1 Grand Prix series.

  • 2004: Obtained Certified Automotive Maintenance & Repair Workshop status. Opened the Fukuoka Sales Office.

2007 – 2015: Brand Evolution & Technical Advancement

  • 2010: First exhibit at the Tokyo Auto Salon 

    　(Exhibiting annually).

  • 2010: Launched "EVOLVE," our specialized cooling 

    　parts brand.

  • 2011: Launched "COMPETITION GEAR," our professional 

    　racing equipment brand.

  • 2014: Patented our unique Floor Bar design.

  • 2014 – 2015: Significant Investment in Manufacturing:

    • Integrated CAD/CAM systems (Vero Japan).

    • Installed FANUC NC Milling & Mazak NC Lathe machinery.

    • Implemented precision measurement systems

       (Tokyo Seimitsu & Mitutoyo 3D Measuring Arms).

2016 – 2020: Innovation & Industry Recognition

  • 2016: Launched "EVOLVE COA" (Next-gen extreme pressure additives) and "COOL✌EST" cooling systems.

  • 2017: Patented the Cool Vest and Cool Seat systems.

  • 2019: Hosted the inaugural "HPI Track Day" at Sodegaura Forest Raceway. Increased capital to 20 million JPY.

  • 2020: Honored as an "Excellent Industrial Enterprise" by Edogawa City, Tokyo.

2021 – Present: Global Expansion & Precision Engineering

  • 2021: Officially certified as an Authorized Factory by Edogawa City. Launched the HPI Online Shop.

  • 2023: Obtained Specialized Automotive Maintenance Certification. Hosted the 10th HPI Track Day, including 

    　the S660 "H1 Cup."

  • 2025: Global Debut: Exhibited at the Japanese Classic Car 

    　Show (JCCS) in Long Beach, California.

  • 2025: Integrated Raise3D printing technology to further 

    　enhance prototyping and production accuracy.

From Airports (Haneda(HND)/ Narita(NRT))

The most convenient and stress-free way is to take the Airport Limousine Bus.

  1. Limousine Bus: From HND or NRT, take the bus bound for "Ichinoe Station"

    • Time (HND): Approx. 40–60 minutes / Fare: 1,300 JPY

    • Time (NRT): Approx. 60–90 minutes / Fare: 1,800 JPY

    • Tickets are available at the Bus Ticket Counter in the arrival lobby.

  2. From Ichinoe Station: We recommend taking a taxi to the office.

    • Time: Approx. 10 minutes / Fare: Approx. 1,500 JPY
       

From Tokyo Station (Shinkansen)

  • By Taxi (Recommended for convenience):
    Please take a taxi from the "Yaesu Exit" (八重洲口) of Tokyo Station.

    • Time: Approx. 30–40 minutes / Fare: Approx. 5,000 – 6,000 JPY

  • By Train and Taxi:

We recommend taking the JR Sobu Line for a smooth and simple transfer.

Take the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) from Tokyo Station to Shin-Koiwa Station 

(4 stops / approx. 15 minutes, Fare: 180 JPY).

Take a taxi from the "South Exit" (南口) of Shin-Koiwa Station.

Taxi Time: Approx. 10–15 minutes.

Estimated Fare: Approx. 1,500 – 2,000 JPY.
