By bombarding the metal surface with ultra-fine spherical shots at high speeds (200m/s), we achieve three critical performance upgrades for transmission shafts:
Increased Fatigue Strength: Instantaneous heating and cooling during impact micro-refines the crystal structure, significantly enhancing the shaft's resistance to twisting and high-torque loads.
Higher Surface Hardness: Repeated plastic deformation creates a work-hardened, toughened layer to prevent premature wear.
Superior Lubrication: Micro-dimples on the surface act as oil reservoirs, preventing oil film breakdown and ensuring consistent lubrication across the entire shaft.
Precision Finishing Technology
Sirius Finish® (Advanced Polishing) This specialized method achieves a mirror-like smoothness (thousands-grit level) on complex geometries. It refines the WPC-strengthened surface to reduce friction and mechanical loss to the absolute minimum, ensuring a smooth rotation of the gears.
MoS2 Shot Treatment (Available Option) A binder-free process that fuses Molybdenum Disulfide directly to the metal surface. This provides a permanent solid lubricant layer, maximizing the reduction in sliding resistance without the need for resin-based coatings.
